Conference and technical visit at Østerild

I am so glad to share with you the amazing experience of participating in my first conference in this project!
 Technical system degradation conference - took place in liptovsky mikulas which are the military academy in Slovakia, between 04/04/18 and 07/04/18. The event was quite challenging for me since it was almost fully in polish.

I also learn from some presentations in the different technical system and interesting discussions which push me to think in a different way!
The conference is not only about work, it gives us a chance to meet different people. Here are some snaps:








I got the opportunity to visit the national test center for large wind turbines at Østerild as part of INFRASTAR 3# training week held at Aalborg University. It was my first visit to wind turbines.
The technical part of this trip was interesting and enriching. " It is no wonder that a modern wind turbine looks so beautiful. As its design has evolved over the past century, it has been gradually streamlined to take the best advantage of the natural power that the Earth provides ".

Bridges have a key position in this infrastructure system. Its functional failure or collapse has significant economic and financial consequences. For this reason, it is important to regularly monitor the current bridge condition, and derive estimates of the remaining service life. This ensures a safe and economically sensible use for existing structures.
